Doing Extraordinary

Wow... it's been ages.  Hello, world. I am here, speaking to my parallel world where everything seems normal, while the world I am living on now is quite hectic. So I am reporting to you what my 'world' has been doing... Everybody has gone through something that has changed them in a way that they could never go back to the person they once were. Overheard that, or read it from some books I read this year. Well, actually it is almost the end of 2015. What about your resolutions? I have none. I am expecting life would lead me to a new and adventurous kind of experience each year. Just deal with the flow it leads you. I would love to talk for hours about this person, but her complexity is such a turn-off for me. To be honest, I always try my best to see the good in people. But it is different story with her. I cannot see anything 'good' on her, despite of her achievement on her careers, whatsoever. It is always about the way you comfort others Pointle...

Being Perfectionist AS FUCK

A lot of things have happened... and I feel like I am fed up with this bullshit.  This person makes me fed up with the job I have now.  She is perfectionist as fuck I think all of the people in the world could not bear it. I always find myself loves being surrounded by the other colleagues at the office. But this person makes me want to resign from my job immediately whenever she is around. While I find myself easy to be happy with my friends, this person finds it hard to be jolly with her work unless it is of a very high standard. Like top notch. High-end. I cannot bear it. Being a perfectionist is pain in the ass. If a person does not get an A, they would think they have miserably failed as they feel the effort is not enough. While I am here, feeling like, just fucking do it with your heart. The intention is the most important thing when you do your job. It is not about who is going to be beaten up by your performance. It is about you are happy doing it. You ear...

Post to my own self in the future: You've done good. You were on the right track. You have the job that you love. You still have your family that loves you no matter how heavy you are. You were nice. You owed people nothing. You did your best to carry on the sadness from losing the people you love. You were as lovely as the rain in drought season. You are the petrichor. You are the rainbow. You regret nothing. You did what you believe. You have special relationship with God. You have never done something bad, or evil, or fishy, or cunning. You cannot die from sadness. So be strong Be brave and keep standing no matter where you are right now Even when you end up alone, Remember that God is with you Always I repeat: You cannot die from sadness or crying too much. You are a strong fella. Chin up. Cheer up. Fuel up your engine to live the life with your fullest potential. You will always be fine.

Book Review: Little Women

Image
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott  Read from June 24 to September 11, 2015 Ebook version (free) So much feelings going on right after finishing this book. I read the Puffin n Bloom by Rifle edition, so it is smaller on the size and thick. I read it for almost 5 months. Daebak. But then again, I try to write this book review, although I am not really happy with the ending.  So, Little Women in a nutshell... It tells us about strong sisterhood and how it results in feminism perspectives depicted along the way. The little women are Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. They used to be rich, but in the story they express how miserable it is to be poor. I feel quite discontented by the fact these characters are soooo desperate in handling their economy problems. Like, okay I get it, this story comes when the background condition was not that good (WW II), but still, they are so desperate to be rich. The way the author speaks it sounds too childish.

Book Review: Jane Eyre

Image
Jane Eyre  by Charlotte Brontë, 5 stars Read from December 16, 2014 to August 31, 2015 Ebook version (free) It turned out this masterpiece ends happily. However, it was a long journey, or flipping pages, because the happy-ending stories are in the last few pages of this book. It makes sense, right? For enduring such long time to taste happiness, from being a dutiful governess to the cancelled wife of her loved one, Mr. Rochester. But you know, to read this beautiful work from 1847 era, it is not painful at all. The language is idyllic, which I love. Each line gives you the details of the plot, setting, and characterization. You would find this orphan Jane is living her life miserably, while in fact, she is indeed an independent woman with beauty and ingenuity. As soon as I know she would govern Adele, Mr. Rochester's daughter from another mistress(?), I would know there would be romance thing in here. But then you would be served with all of these gory details after ...
