First is the frilly lampshade. In a little room, sometimes all the little details together will make the biggest impact, so you cannot neglect the little things in your nursery room. You can dress up the plain lampshade on your baby's nightstand with a quick and simple project that even the more inexperienced crafter can complete. Therefore, you could choose a fabric trim for the lamp. You may also want something frillier for a girl's nursery, such as lace or ribbon. As for the boy's nursery room, you can use something a little less frilly but still playful and sweet, such as ball fringe in a light shade, might be a better choice. You can use hot glue to attach the fabric fringe to the lamp. Or you can also dress up the lamp to go with the shade by hot gluing polka dots, or other shapes, cut from felt to the lamp to soften it up a bit.

Second is the infant shadow box. You can use some items from your infancy that are packed away in storage to create a piece of wall art for your child's nursery that is a true treasure. Don’t forget to fill a shadow box with items such as your first pair of baby booties, your first rattle, your tattered old stuffed animal and a picture of you as a newborn. You need to arrange these items in the shadow box in a visually pleasing way before hanging it up on the wall. After that, you can create one shadow box of yourself and one of your spouses. You should arrange another shadow box with your infant's keepsakes as he grows.
